Just a note of thanks to Bob Allen and Tim Dailey at the Crooked Creek Conservation Club for stepping up to the plate to insure we maintain a presence on the east side of town. I enjoyed a day in the field competing in the annual Jack Davis Memorial trial in Hartsgrove yesterday. Thanks to all the handlers and staff of the CCCC who helped host this annual event!

If anyone is looking for English Setter puppies, I co-own a female named Grouse Ridge Darla with Pete Flanagan, the owner of Grouse Ridge Kennel. Darla is due to have puppies in mid-May. I believe puppies are still available. Darla was the Runner-Up in All Age at the Winners Trial in 2015. She did not compete in our trials in 2016, as she was competing on the American Field Trial Circuit. If interested, please see Grouse Ridge Kennel website and contact Pete or Katie Flanagan.

Well, kid's, it's almost here! This coming Saturday we will gather to compete in the 49th Annual All Breed Invitational Winners trial. Run orders have been randomly drawn and are now available for viewing on the site. Please remember the operative word of the day-flexibility. We will do our best to run according to schedule, but just remember, we have judges, gallery gunners, bird planters and assorted field help also running dogs that may make necessary a deviation from the schedule. We ask that you please understand and be supportive. Also, if anyone would like to attend the banquet, please contact me asap. $40.00 per person includes dinner, dancing, cocktails, the awards ceremony etc. Williams on the Lake starting at 5:30 p.m.. We hope many will offer their help in making this event a memorable one for all of us! We may have lucked out weather-wise, also! See everyone there!
